Okay, so I’ve been totally hooked on Cookie Run: Kingdom lately. I mean, who isn’t? Building your own little cookie empire is addictive! But I hit a wall. A big, sugary, frustrating wall: I could NOT for the life of me figure out a good kingdom name.
I started like everyone else, I guess. Just mashing random stuff together. “SweetKingdom”? Nope. “CookieLand”? Ugh, boring. “CrumblyEmpire”? Sounds like it’s already falling apart. I spent, like, a solid hour just staring at the name input screen, feeling like a total failure.

Then I decided to get a little more methodical. I grabbed a piece of paper (yeah, old school, I know) and started brainstorming.
Brainstorming Disaster
- First, I tried focusing on my favorite cookies. I’m a big fan of Strawberry Crepe Cookie, so I tried variations of that. “CrepeCorner”? “StrawberryStronghold”? Nope, nope, and nope.
- Then I went down the “punny” route. “Doughmain”? “CookieCrumbletopia”? I even considered “GingerBrave’s New Groove” for a second, but I quickly came to my senses.
- I thought about my kingdom’s vibe. Was it going to be a mighty fortress? A peaceful haven? I couldn’t even decide on that, let alone come up with a name to match!
I was about ready to give up. I considered just naming it “Kingdom” and calling it a day. But something inside me, a stubborn little cookie-loving voice, refused to let me settle.
The “Aha!” Moment
So, I took a break. Made myself some actual, real-life cookies (chocolate chip, naturally). And while I was munching away, it hit me. I needed a name that was personal, a little silly, and reflected my actual love of cookies. Not just the game, but the real deal.
I went back to the game, and this time, I typed in “BatterUpKingdom”. And you know what? It felt perfect. It’s got that baking connection, it’s a little bit playful, and it just…works.
So, yeah, that’s the story of how I finally named my Cookie Run: Kingdom. It was a journey, a struggle, a near-defeat, but I got there in the end. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have some cookies to bake…in the game, and maybe in real life, too.
