Alright, guys, so I wanted to get all the Great Runes in Elden Ring, you know, for that sweet, sweet power. But to do that, you gotta duplicate those Remembrances. And for that, you need Walking Mausoleums. I spent a whole weekend figuring this out, so let me save you some time.
Finding the Walking Mausoleums
First things first, you gotta find these bad boys. They’re huge, walking bell-turtle things – you really can’t miss them. But they’re not all in obvious places, so here’s what I did:
- Weeping Peninsula: I started here. There is one Mausoleum wander around, southwest of the “Weeping Peninsula” Site of Grace.
Just get close, and you will hear it. Easy to spot, impossible to miss!
- Liurnia of the Lakes: Oh boy, Liurnia. There are three here, it took me a while.
- One’s in the water, easy, near the “Mausoleum Compound” Site of Grace.
- Another is up north near the “Raya Lucaria Crystal Tunnel” Site of Grace.
- The tricky one is, it’s inside the “Raya Lucaria Academy” area.
- Deeproot Depths: I got totally lost down here at first. But eventually, I found a Mausoleum near “The Nameless Eternal City” Site of Grace.
- Mountaintops of the Giants: I find two.
- I found One Mausoleum just wander around.
- Another one needs to solve a little puzzle to find.
Getting Inside
Just finding them isn’t enough. I tried just whacking them, jumping on them – nothing worked. Then I noticed the skulls, barnacles things, on their legs.
Smash those skulls! I used my sword, magic, whatever. Just keep hitting those skull clusters. You gotta clear enough of them off all four legs. It’s a bit of a pain, especially when they stomp around, but keep at it. Once you clear enough, the whole thing will just…sit down.
Duplicating Remembrances
Once the Mausoleum is down, I went inside. There’s a coffin thing in there. I interact with it, and I got a menu of all the Remembrances I had. Pick one, and boom, duplicated! Note: You only use one Mausoleum one time!
I did this for every Mausoleum I could find. I will try to find all of these Mausoleums, and duplicate all Remembrances.
