Okay, so I decided to dive into this “Line in the Sand” mission in Gray Zone Warfare. Honestly, I’d heard a lot of chatter about it, and some folks were saying it was a real pain. I figured, “Challenge accepted!” Let me walk you through how I tackled it.
Getting Started
First things first, I made sure I had the right gear. I loaded up on ammo, grabbed my favorite rifle (nothing fancy, just reliable), and packed enough meds to keep me going. I’d learned the hard way in this game that being over-prepared is always better than running out of supplies mid-fight.

The Journey
Then I Started the game, and took the helicopter to the landing zone. There are three, and you can pick any one. YBL-1 is the closest, but also probably going to have the most action.
- India 1
- Lima 1
- YBL-1
From YBL-1, I moved south, sticking to cover as much as possible. I was heading towards a small cluster of buildings, where I’d heard the intel was located. I kept my eyes peeled for enemy patrols – both AI and other players. Believe me, you don’t want to get caught off guard in this area.
The Compound
Reaching the buildings, I took my time clearing each one. Slow and steady wins the race, right? I used my ears a lot, listening for footsteps or any telltale signs of enemies. Inside one of the buildings, tucked away in a back room, I finally found what I was looking for – a laptop just sitting there.
Exfiltration
With the intel secured, it was time to get out. I backtracked carefully, retracing my steps and keeping a low profile. Made it back to the landing zone without any major incidents. Called in the extraction chopper and, boom, mission accomplished!
My takeaway? Patience is key. Don’t rush, take your time, and use your surroundings to your advantage. And always, always, be prepared for a fight.
