Alright, today I wanna talk about this “concerto energy” thing in Wuthering Waves. It’s been a real head-scratcher, but I think I’ve finally figured out how it works. So, picture this: I’m in the middle of a fight, right? My characters are slashing, dodging, doing their thing. And I noticed this little circle on the bottom left of the screen filling up.
Turns out, that’s the Concerto Energy. Every time I’m dealing damage to the enemies or pulling off a successful dodge, I saw this energy bar going up. I found out that the more damage I do and the more dodges I do, the faster it fills. That’s not all. I use my Echo Abilities, which are special attacks based on the monsters we collect, and it also fills up the Concerto Energy, but it’s slower than regular attacks.
The trick is how to use it?
- First, I need to fill that circle all the way. Once it’s full, I can switch to another character in my party.
- When I switch, the character I’m leaving behind uses their “Outro Skill”. It’s like a farewell present. Some characters, when they leave the field, they’ll do a big attack, and others will buff the next character coming in.
- For example, one of my characters, Verina, when she exits, she heals the whole team and gives a damage boost. It’s pretty sweet. I’ve read somewhere that Verina is a good choice for most players, and I agree. I have a bunch of characters, but I usually use her because her Outro Skill is so useful.
I also tried playing in co-op mode with some friends. Turns out, if one of my teammates fills up their Concerto Energy, I can see it, too. It’s a neat way to coordinate attacks and make sure someone’s always ready to unleash their Outro Skill. But in co-op mode, we can’t get any energy from Echo Abilities.
So, yeah, that’s basically what I’ve learned about Concerto Energy. It’s all about dealing damage, dodging, filling up that meter, and then switching characters to use those Outro Skills. It adds a whole extra layer of strategy to the fights, and I’m really digging it. I find it quite useful in some battles. If you’re playing Wuthering Waves and haven’t quite figured this out yet, give it a try. It might change the way you approach battles!
