Now, for the “strike like the eagle” part. This, to me, meant being decisive and focused. Once I’d adapted to the situation (the sand part), it was time to commit and go all-in (the eagle part).
I applied this to a project I’d been putting off – cleaning out my garage. It was a daunting task, and I’d been “shifting” around it for weeks, finding excuses to do other things. But inspired by my eagle, I decided to just attack it.
I set a timer for two hours. No distractions, no phone, just me and the mess. I focused on one small section at a time, making quick decisions about what to keep, toss, or donate. It was intense, but incredibly effective. In those two hours, I made more progress than I had in the past month.
