Alright, let’s talk about figuring out a solid Meg build. Took me a while, messing around with different stuff, getting smacked down a lot before I landed on something that actually felt good, you know? It wasn’t like I just looked up a guide and boom, done. Nah, I had to actually play the game, see what worked for me.
Starting Out Clueless
When I first started really trying to get better as a survivor, Meg seemed like the obvious choice. She’s fast, right? So I slapped on Sprint Burst. Everyone uses it. Figured that was the key. And yeah, sometimes it saved my butt. But other times? Man, I’d waste it just running to a generator, then the killer shows up and I’m just walking, exhausted. It felt clumsy. I kept getting caught because I used my speed boost at the wrong time. Super frustrating.

So I thought, okay, maybe not Sprint Burst. I tried Lithe. Seemed smarter, using vaults to get away. That was better, more control. But then I’d be in the open, no vault nearby, and bam, down I go. It felt situational. Same thing with Balanced Landing. Great on some maps, totally useless on others. I needed something more consistent.
Mixing and Matching Perks
I started just throwing perks together. Tried stuff like Quick & Quiet with Lithe for sneaky escapes. Sometimes it worked, sometimes the killer wasn’t fooled. Tried adding Adrenaline because that endgame rush is powerful, no doubt. That one stuck around, felt too good to pass up, like a safety net for the final push.
But the core chase part was still bugging me. I wasn’t lasting long enough. I felt like I was running blind half the time, guessing where the next pallet or window was. That’s when I really gave Windows of Opportunity a serious try. I ignored it for ages, thought it was a crutch perk or something. Boy, was I wrong. Suddenly, I could actually plan my route in a chase. See the loops ahead of time. It changed everything.
So now I had Windows, and I still liked Lithe for the controlled burst after a vault. What else? I realized I was often injured during chases. So I looked at perks that helped then. Resilience caught my eye. Faster vaulting when injured? Yes please. That little speed boost makes a surprising difference when you’re trying to make it to that next window just before the killer swings.
Settling on What Works (For Me)
So after all that messing around, getting tunneled, making dumb plays, I finally landed on a setup that just clicked for my playstyle. It’s not fancy, probably not what some pro streamer uses, but it keeps me alive longer and helps the team.
Here’s what I ended up running most of the time now:

- Windows of Opportunity: Gotta see where I’m going. Information is key. No more running into dead zones.
- Lithe: Controlled speed burst after vaulting. Lets me choose when to zoom. Feels more reliable than Sprint Burst for my timing.
- Resilience: That extra vault speed when injured. It combos nicely with Lithe and Windows, helping me extend chases just that little bit longer. Also helps on gens slightly when hurt.
- Adrenaline: The endgame powerhouse. Heals me, gives a sprint burst when the gates are powered. It’s saved so many games, either getting me out or letting me take a protection hit for someone else.
This build just feels smooth. I use Windows to plan my escape path, vault using Lithe to gain distance, and Resilience helps me keep vaulting efficiently if I get hit. Adrenaline is the cherry on top for the endgame chaos. It took a lot of games, a lot of failing, but this setup feels like my best Meg build. It works for how I play – trying to stay aware and make smart moves during a chase, rather than just holding W with Sprint Burst.
