Okay, so today I messed around with this “Jack and McKinley” thing. Let me tell you, it was a bit of a journey. Here’s how it went down:
First Steps – What even is this?
First, I had to figure out what I was even dealing with. I started by, you know, Googling it. Found some basic info, enough to get me started, but nothing super detailed. It was like trying to assemble furniture with only half the instructions.

Getting My Hands Dirty
Next, I tried to actually do something. This is where things got interesting. I started with the most obvious steps, kind of feeling my way through the dark. It wasn’t pretty, I’ll admit. I probably made every mistake in the book.
- Attempt 1: Total fail. I completely misunderstood a key concept and ended up with a mess.
- Attempt 2: Slightly better, but still no cigar. I fixed one problem but created two more.
- Attempt 3: Okay, now we’re getting somewhere. I finally understood the basic workflow, but it was still clunky.
The “Aha!” Moment
After a few more tries (and a lot of frustration), something finally clicked. I realized I had been overlooking a really simple step. It was one of those “facepalm” moments, you know? Like, “Duh, how did I miss that?”
Making it Work (Sort Of)
Once I had that figured out, things started to fall into place. I was able to get a basic version working. It wasn’t perfect, by any means, but it was a huge improvement over where I started. I was pretty stoked, not gonna lie.
Still a Long Way to Go
So, yeah, I made some progress today. But I definitely wouldn’t call myself an expert. There’s still a ton of stuff I need to figure out. It’s like, I climbed one hill, but now I see a whole mountain range in front of me. But hey, at least I’m moving in the right direction. It’s one of the things that makes you feel like you’ve accomplished something!
