Okay, so I wanted to mess around with that “Kris Tyson Changes Over the Years” thing everyone’s talking about. I’m not a video editor or anything, but I figured, why not? It seemed like a fun little project.
Getting Started
First, I needed some videos. I spent a good chunk of time just scrolling through YouTube, looking for old MrBeast videos featuring Kris. I downloaded a bunch – I probably went overboard, honestly. I just grabbed anything that looked like it might have a good shot of her.
Picking Out the Moments
Then came the real work. I opened up my basic video editing software – nothing fancy, just the free one that came with my computer. I imported all those clips and started watching. And watching. And watching. This took forever. I was basically looking for moments where Kris was clearly visible, trying to get a range of different expressions and, you know, changes over time.
- Finding clear shots was tougher than I thought!
- I ended up with tons of little clips, like 2-3 seconds each.
- I tried to get a mix of stuff – early videos, later videos, different hairstyles, all that.
Putting it Together
Next, I started arranging these clips in chronological order. This was kind of cool, actually, seeing the progression. I added some simple transitions, just fades mostly, nothing too distracting. I played it back, tweaked the order a bit, swapped out a few clips that didn’t look quite right.
The Final Touches (Sort Of)
I’m still not totally happy with it. I might go back and add some text overlays with the dates or something. But for a first attempt, I think it’s pretty neat! It definitely shows how much Kris has changed over the years, which was the whole point, right?
It was way more time-consuming than I expected, but also kind of rewarding. I might even try doing this with some other YouTubers, just for fun. Who knows, maybe I’ll get good at it!
