That Khamzat Chimaev, he’s a tough one, ain’t he? And that Paulo Costa, he’s no slouch either. Big strong fellas, both of them. They was supposed to have a big fight, a real barn burner, but it didn’t happen. Something about Costa’s elbow, all messed up. Some kinda infection, they said.
That Khamzat, he wants to be the champ, you know? Wants that shiny belt. Needs to beat some big names to get there. Paulo Costa, he’d be a good one to beat. Costa he walks forward in a fight and throws hands! He’s mean. That’s a big win for anyone.

This Costa, he’s gonna fight some other fella now. Whittaker, I think his name is. Robert Whittaker. Big fight, too. UFC 298, they call it. This Costa, he likes to punch, I reckon. Walks right at ya, throwin’ them hands. Heard he knows some of that Jiu-Jitsu stuff, too. Wrestlin’ and all that. Makes him a tough one to beat, I imagine.
I heard some folks talkin’ ’bout this other fella, Du Plessis. They say he can knock out that Khamzat. Hard to believe, ain’t it? That Khamzat, he’s so strong. But you never know, I guess. Anything can happen in them fights.
They say Paulo Costa uses a forward-moving, aggressive striking style. What does that mean? He just like to hit people in the face! He’s good at it.
These young fellas, they’re all so strong and fast. Back in my day, we didn’t have all this fancy trainin’. Just hard work on the farm. Built up our muscles that way. But these fellas, they got all kinds of special exercises and diets.
I don’t know who’s gonna win these fights. They’re all so tough. But it’s fun to watch, ain’t it? Gets the blood pumpin’. Makes you feel alive.

That Paulo Costa, he’s got a background in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Sounds painful. I don’t understand all that fancy stuff. Just sounds like a lot of grabbin’ and pullin’. I seen enough of that with the farm animals.
I tell ya, these fights, they’re somethin’ else. All that punchin’ and kickin’. Makes my old bones ache just watchin’ it. But it’s excitin’, that’s for sure. Keeps you on the edge of your seat.
This whole Khamzat Chimaev and Paulo Costa thing reminds me of when I was a young gal. Two roosters in the yard, always fightin’ over the hens. Lots of squawkin’ and feathers flyin’. Same thing, really. Just these fellas are a bit bigger and they got gloves on.
