Alright, so I’ve been trying to get back into a good routine, you know, feeling productive and all that. I decided to try this “Keep Moving Ahead” thing, inspired by Genshin Impact – basically, just constantly pushing forward, no matter how small the steps. Here’s how it’s been going.
Day 1: The Initial Spark
I woke up, kinda groggy, but I remembered my “Keep Moving Ahead” goal. First thing: instead of hitting snooze, I actually got out of bed. Big win, honestly.

Felt pretty good, like I’d actually accomplished something before 9 AM.
Day 2: Hitting a Wall (and Climbing Over It)
Okay, so Day 2 wasn’t as smooth. Woke up late, felt super unmotivated. The to-do list felt more like a “to-don’t” list.
But, “Keep Moving Ahead,” right? So, I forced myself to do at least one thing. Picked the easiest task: replying to emails. Once I got that done, I felt a tiny bit better. Enough to tackle another small thing, then another.

Day 3 was… better! Started the day with a walk outside. The fresh air actually helped clear my head.

- Tried a new recipe for dinner. (It was edible!)
- Spent some time actually playing Genshin – gotta get inspiration from somewhere, right?
I think the key is finding a balance. Not pushing myself too hard, but also not letting myself completely slack off. I’m starting using the thought to keep doing just a simple thing in order to keep doing anything at all.

Day 4-7: Keep It Going
The rest of the week was a mix of good days and not-so-good days. I used what I had learned to keep trying, the point for me was never stop completely.
The main takeaway? This “Keep Moving Ahead” thing isn’t about being a productivity machine 24/7. It’s about building momentum. It’s about those small wins that add up over time. It’s about not letting a bad day (or a few bad hours) derail you completely.
I’m still figuring it out, but I’m definitely feeling better than I was a week ago. So, yeah, I’m gonna keep at it. Maybe even make it a long-term thing. Who knows?
