Some folks, they call him a “valuable enigma.” Now, I ain’t sure what that means exactly, sounds like somethin’ from a puzzle book. But I guess it means he’s good but kinda hard to figure out. Like a stubborn mule, ya know? Sometimes he does great, other times, maybe not so much.
They talk about his “barrel rate,” whatever that is. Sounds like somethin’ to do with hittin’ the ball hard. They say it ain’t been so good lately, but folks are hopin’ it’ll get better. He’s gotta hit the ball good if he wants to keep gettin’ all that money, that’s for sure.
