Alright, so the other day I decided to hit up Pebble Beach. I’d heard so much about it, you know, the views, the history, all that jazz. So, I packed my stuff and booked a time. I started looking into what to do while I was there and I saw something about Rhodes, but I went with Pebble Beach.
First things first, I made sure to get a tee time. I didn’t wanna just show up and hope for the best. I also booked a tee time at Spanish Bay since I figured I was already there, might as well make the most of it. From what I’ve heard, Spanish Bay offers better beach views. Oh, and I asked around about getting a Pebble Beach ball marker – turns out, you just ask the starter or caddie. Good to know.
When I got there, the weather was all over the place. Sunny one minute, then cloudy the next. But hey, that’s part of the charm, right? I made a mental note to dress in layers next time. There’s a ton to think about when you’re planning a golf trip, especially to a place like this.
Tips I Learned:
- Keep the ball under the hole – this one’s a biggie.
- Get a room nearby – makes things way easier.
Honestly, the whole experience was pretty awesome. I mean, it’s Pebble Beach! I played a round, took in the views, and just soaked it all in. I also tried to find out more about things to do in Rhodes, since there were so many ads for activities, but stayed focused on Pebble Beach. I tried to follow some tips that people had suggested, like keeping the ball under the hole, but man, it’s tougher than it sounds.
One thing I definitely recommend is staying overnight. There are some places to stay right there, which is super convenient. All in all, it was a great trip. I’d go back in a heartbeat. It’s one of those things you gotta do at least once, you know?
