Okay, folks, let’s talk about the pain of “Jedi Survivor” freezing on PC. I’ve been there, and it’s rough. Here’s how I finally wrestled my game into submission.
First, the frustration was real. I booted up the game, all excited to continue my Cal Kestis journey, and bam! Freeze-city. Sometimes it was during cutscenes, sometimes mid-fight, sometimes just… randomly. Super annoying.

Troubleshooting Time
So, I rolled up my sleeves and started digging. My initial thought, like most people, was drivers.
- I made sure my Nvidia drivers were the absolute latest. Clean install, just to be safe.
Still freezing. Ugh.
Next, I checked the game’s settings.
- I messed around by put render detail to low, and i see the game got some smooth playing.
- I turned off ray tracing. Beautiful, but a resource hog.
- I lowered the resolution. I know, I know, but stability over pretty, right?
Better, but still not perfect. A few more random freezes.
Then, I started looking at background processes. Were any apps hogging resources?
- I killed anything unnecessary – browsers, Discord, even my RGB lighting software.
Getting closer! The freezes were less frequent now.

My ‘Aha!’ Moment
Finally, I stumbled upon something about CPU core usage. Apparently, “Jedi Survivor” can be a bit weird with how it uses your processor.
I found a way to change the game is by press “ctrl+alt+del” go to detail and find the jedi survivor .exe.
- I right-clicked on the game and go to set affinity and unchecked some cores.
BAM! Smooth sailing (mostly). I still get the occasional hiccup, but it’s way better than before. It’s not a perfect fix, but it’s good enough for me to actually enjoy the game.
So, there you have it. My messy, somewhat-successful journey to un-freeze “Jedi Survivor.” Hope this helps some of you out there!
