Well, now, I know y’all been wonderin’ why ain’t SmackDown on tonight like it always is. It’s a bit of a mess this week, so let me explain it the best I can. All the wrestlers and WWE folks gotta head over there for that, so they ain’t gonna be doin’ no live show in the U.S. tonight. Instead, they taped this week’s SmackDown a while back at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, right after the October 25th show aired. Yup, they taped it early so they could send everybody on their way to Saudi Arabia without missin’ a beat. Ain’t that somethin’?
Now, y’all might be wonderin’, “Well, where can I watch it then?” It’s still gonna be on TV, don’t you worry. But it ain’t comin’ on the usual channel tonight. That’s right, this week it’s on USA Network instead of FOX, and this change is all because of WWE’s big ol’ move from FOX back to USA. SmackDown was on FOX for five years, but now it’s gone back to USA, and that’s why you ain’t seein’ it on FOX tonight. So, remember that, it’s all part of the plan. If you’re lookin’ to catch it, turn that dial to USA Network at 8 PM ET, same time as usual, just a different place to find it!
Now, I reckon some of you folks might be thinkin’, “What about Hulu? Can I watch it on there?” Well, let me tell you, no, you won’t be able to catch it on Hulu like you used to. Since SmackDown’s moved over to USA Network, that means it ain’t gonna be on Hulu for next-day streamin’ no more. Ain’t that a shame? You’ll just have to tune in live if you want to catch it.
And there’s somethin’ else, too. If you’re in Detroit, Michigan, you might be in for a bit of a wait tonight. Seems like the show’s gonna be delayed till 11:30 PM local time on FOX 2. I reckon they got some local programming to take care of first, but don’t worry, it’s still gonna be on, just a little later than usual.
Now, to wrap it up, SmackDown will be back on regular schedule soon, but this week’s a bit off with all them travel plans and the Crown Jewel event goin’ on. So, if you’re lookin’ for your Friday night fix of WWE action, just make sure you’re tuned in to USA Network tonight at 8 PM ET. Ain’t no other place to find it this week!
