Alright, so I found myself going down a bit of a rabbit hole the other day concerning that whole xQc Vegas house situation. You see bits and pieces on stream, right? And I just got curious, like, what’s the actual flow of the place?
So, what did I do? Well, first, I started just kinda passively watching some recent streams, then older VODs where he might have shown more angles. You know how it is, you’re looking for those moments where the camera pans, or he walks from one room to another. Tried to mentally map it out.

Finding Reference Material
It was tougher than I thought. Streams are chaotic. You get quick glimpses, weird angles, fisheye lens distortion sometimes. Not exactly architectural blueprints, you know?
- Scrubbed through a bunch of VODs.
- Looked at clips people had posted, hoping for different perspectives.
- Tried to focus on doorways and window placements when they appeared.
Honestly, it felt like detective work, but for something completely unimportant. Kinda fun, though, in a weird way. Made me think about how streamers frame their shots and what they choose not to show.
Trying to Sketch it Out
After gathering what little visual info I could, I actually grabbed a notebook. Yeah, old school. Tried sketching a rough floor plan. This part was mostly guesswork. Connecting the dots based on transitions. “Okay, he walked left out of this room, seemed like a hallway…” That kind of thing.
The main living area, the streaming setup spot, the kitchen… those were the ‘easier’ parts because they’re shown more often. But hallways, other rooms? Mostly blanks.
Maybe a Game Build?

Then I thought, hey, why not try building a rough version in a game? Like The Sims or Minecraft. Just to visualize it better. Seemed like a practical step, a way to turn the sketches into something more solid.
Fired up Minecraft. Seemed like the quickest way to just block things out. Didn’t need fancy furniture, just walls and spaces. Started laying down blocks based on my dodgy sketch. Immediately ran into problems. Proportions felt off. The scale you imagine from a camera lens versus building it block by block is totally different.
- Spent ages trying to get the main room dimensions somewhat right.
- Guestimated hallway lengths.
- Realized how little detail you actually see of connecting areas.
Ended up with something that vaguely resembled the core areas shown on stream, but also felt… empty and probably very inaccurate. It’s weird building something based only on limited, skewed visual info.
Final Thoughts
So, that was my little project. Started with curiosity, led to some VOD-diving, sketching, and a very rough Minecraft build. Didn’t uncover any secrets, obviously. Just confirmed that figuring out a house layout from stream clips is a fuzzy process at best.
It was an interesting exercise in observation, I guess. Made me appreciate actual level designers or architects who have real plans to work with. My end result? A blocky, probably wrong digital guess. But hey, it passed the time.
