Alright, so I hopped onto FC 24 earlier today, aiming to knock out that Allen Scherer Icon objective. Heard it wasn’t too bad, figured I’d give it a go.
First thing I did was log into Ultimate Team, obviously. Went straight over to the Objectives section to see exactly what needed doing. Found the Scherer group pretty quick.
Checking the Tasks
So, the list looked something like this, pretty standard stuff really:
- Score like 8 goals using players from the Bundesliga.
- Assist 5 goals with German players.
- Win 6 matches in Squad Battles (or Rivals/Champs) on at least Semi-Pro difficulty, with at least 3 German players starting.
- Play 10 separate matches in Squad Battles (or Rivals/Champs).
Seemed straightforward enough. Decided Squad Battles was the way to go, less stress, you know? Can control the difficulty and just focus on the objectives.
Getting it Done
So I went to my squad screen. Had to fiddle around a bit to get those 3 German players starting. Put Werner up top, had Goretzka in midfield, and slotted in Rüdiger at the back. Filled the rest with some decent Bundesliga guys I had lying around to cover the scoring objective too.
Jumped into Squad Battles on Semi-Pro. First few games were focused on getting those goals and assists done. Made sure to pass to my German players when in shooting positions for the assists, and let the Bundesliga guys bang in the goals. Werner actually did most of the work for the scoring part, pretty pacey.
The assists took a little concentration, making sure Goretzka or whoever was German actually made the final pass. Got those done after maybe 4 or 5 games.
Winning the 6 matches wasn’t too tough on Semi-Pro, just had to play properly and not mess around too much. The requirement to just play 10 matches naturally got ticked off as I was going for the wins.
Took a couple of hours, maybe? Wasn’t really counting, just playing through the games. Kept checking the objective progress after each match to see what was left.
Once that final win objective popped, I backed out of Squad Battles. Went back to the Objectives screen, saw the main Allen Scherer group objective completed.
Claiming the Reward
Claimed the reward, and boom, the Allen Scherer Icon card popped up. Nice little animation. Added him straight to the club. Haven’t tried him out yet, but feels good to get the objective done without too much fuss. Just a bit of a grind playing those matches, but that’s FUT for you.
