Okay, so I’ve been hyped for Black Myth: Wukong for, like, forever. When pre-orders went live, I was staring at that deluxe edition like a monkey staring at a… well, you know. I had to figure out if those extra goodies were worth the extra cash. So, here’s how I went about deciding.
The Breakdown
First, I listed out exactly what came with the standard edition and the deluxe edition. It’s the obvious first step, right? Can’t make a decision without knowing the options.
- Standard Edition: Just the game. Plain and simple.
- Deluxe Edition: Game, plus some digital stuff: a special weapon, some armor, a couple of trinkets, and the soundtrack.
Then, I thought about my playstyle. Am I the type of person who needs every little advantage? Do I obsess over cosmetics? Honestly, not really. I’m usually more about the gameplay itself.
The Deep Dive (Sort Of)
Next, I scrolled through some forums and watched a few videos. You know, just casually, not like a total nerd or anything. I wanted to see if anyone had early impressions of the deluxe items. Were they game-changing? Did they look really cool?
