Alright, let’s talk about getting that awesome Black Knife gear for a female character in Elden Ring. I decided I really wanted that look, you know? Sleek, mysterious, deadly. So, I set out to grab it.
The Start of the Hunt
First things first, I knew this wasn’t gonna be a walk in the park. Heard the set was tucked away somewhere way up north, in a place called the Consecrated Snowfield. Getting there itself is a bit of a task.

- Had to track down the two halves of the Haligtree Secret Medallion. One part was easy enough, found it in the Village of the Albinaurics.
- The other half… well, that meant dealing with Commander Niall up in Castle Sol. That fight took me a few tries, not gonna lie.
Once I had both pieces, I headed back to the Grand Lift of Rold. Used the secret medallion option, and boom, into the blizzard I went.
Finding Ordina and the Big Problem
Navigating the Consecrated Snowfield is rough with that low visibility, but eventually, I stumbled upon Ordina, Liturgical Town. It’s got this weird, quiet vibe. Found this evergaol, like a portal thing, in the town. Stepped inside, and that’s where the real fun began.
Turns out, the town in the evergaol is crawling with invisible Black Knife Assassins. Seriously annoying. And there are these archers up on the rooftops too, also invisible mostly, just sniping at you. The goal is to light four statues hidden around the town to break a seal.
The Runaround
Okay, dealing with those assassins was tough. They hit hard and appear out of nowhere. I heard later that a specific torch, the Sentry’s Torch, can help you see them, but I didn’t have it on me at the time. So, what did I do?
I ran.
A lot. It was basically a mad dash from statue to statue. Dodging arrows, rolling away when I saw that shimmer of an assassin getting close, frantically looking for those ladders to climb up to the statues. There were a few close calls, got grabbed once or twice. Super tense.

- Found the first statue pretty easily near the entrance. Lit it up.
- Scrambled across rooftops for the next two, always listening for those footsteps or projectiles. Lighting each one felt like a small victory.
- The last one was probably the trickiest, had to navigate some tight spots while hoping I wasn’t about to get backstabbed.
Success and the Reward
Finally, I lit that fourth statue. Heard this distinct sound, and the big magical barrier blocking a doorway high up disappeared. Felt such a wave of relief wash over me.
Climbed up the newly accessible ladder/stairs, went through the doorway, and there it was. The complete Black Knife set, just lying there on a corpse. Hood, Armor, Gauntlets, and Greaves. Picked it all up.
Went back to a Site of Grace later and equipped it on my female character. Gotta say, it looks fantastic. Really fits that agile, deadly vibe. Plus, the muffled footsteps effect from the chest piece is a nice touch. Makes you feel extra sneaky.
So yeah, that was my little adventure getting the Black Knife set. Took some effort, especially that Ordina puzzle, but totally worth it for the fashion and the cool factor.
