So, the other day, I got curious about what’s coming next in Genshin. You know how it is, you finish the current stuff and start wondering. I’d heard whispers here and there about leaks, so I figured I’d check it out myself.
Finding the Spot
Fired up my computer, opened the browser. Didn’t really know where to start, just typed something like ‘genshin impact leaks discussion’ into the search bar. A few things popped up, but this Reddit place, ‘r/genshinleaks’, caught my eye. Seemed like the main hub.

Clicked into it. Right away, I saw a whole load of posts. Lots of images and video previews, titles hinting at new characters, areas, maybe even story bits. It looked pretty active, tons of people online.
Scrolling Through
I started scrolling down the page. It was kind of a flood, really. Lots of spoiler tags, which is good, I guess. Didn’t want everything ruined instantly.
I clicked on a few posts that looked interesting. Saw some character models I hadn’t seen before, some screenshots of new map areas. People in the comments were going back and forth – some super hyped, others pointing out things that looked fake or unsure.
- Saw discussion about character kits.
- People were guessing about future banners.
- Noticed different tags on posts, like ‘Reliable’ or ‘Questionable’. Made sense, you can’t believe everything you see.
Spent a fair bit of time just looking around. It’s wild seeing stuff that’s probably months away from being officially released. You see animations, weapon details, all sorts of bits and pieces.
My Takeaway
Honestly? It was interesting. Satisfied my curiosity for sure. Got a peek behind the curtain, so to speak. But it’s also a bit… much. Takes away the surprise of finding things out in the game itself.
Plus, you gotta remember, none of this stuff is final. Things can change, leaks can be wrong. Saw plenty of arguments about that in the comments too.

So, yeah. I went there, I looked around, I saw the leaks. It’s a place that exists, full of potential future info. Probably won’t live there, but I know where to find it if I get that itch again. Closed the tab after a while. Felt like I’d seen enough for one day.
