Okay, so I saw this thing online, “is DVA lesbian now?” and I was like, “Wait, what?” So, I decided to dig in and figure this out myself.
My Little Investigation
First, I jumped onto the usual spots – you know, fan forums, and places where people talk about Overwatch lore. Man, it was a mess. Lots of opinions, some arguments, people throwing around all sorts of stuff, but I was on a quest.
Then, I started looking for anything official. Like, stuff from Blizzard, the actual game creators. I checked their website, any interviews I could find, and of course, rewatched all the cinematic and other thing.
- Checked fan forums and discussions.
- Searched for official statements from Blizzard.
- Re-watched in-game cinematics and other contents.
I dug through some old interviews and developer comments, patch notes, trying to find any clues.
And you know what? I basically found a whole lot of… nothing concrete. Some people point to little hints in the game, or interactions with other characters. And I spent hours on these.
Finally, I had to face the reality. Blizzard hasn’t come out and said anything definite either way. So, is * lesbian “now”? As far as I can tell from my deep dive, it’s still all just fan theory.
