Okay, so you guys have been blowing up my inbox about AJ Lee, asking if she’s gonna make a comeback to WWE. I mean, I get it, we all miss her, right? So, I decided to do some digging, and here’s what went down.
First off, I hit up all my usual wrestling news sites. You know, the ones that always have the inside scoop, or at least they claim to. Some of them were saying there’s buzz, especially after CM Punk came back. People are thinking, “Hey, if he’s back, why not AJ?” Made sense, so I kept digging.
Then, I went down the rabbit hole of social media. Twitter, Reddit, all those places where wrestling fans love to speculate. And let me tell you, the rumors were flying! People were posting old clips of AJ, talking about her best matches, and just generally getting hyped about the possibility of her return. There’s even talk going around that she and some big WWE superstar were talking or something. I don’t know, nothing concrete.
- Nostalgia Trip: I even rewatched some of her old matches. Remember The Chickbusters? Her and Kaitlyn were such a fun tag team! It was cool to see how much she grew, both in and out of the ring.
But then, reality started to set in. I found this article mentioning that it’s been a year since CM Punk’s return, and there hasn’t been any real movement on AJ’s end. Plus, she’s been out of the wrestling game for six years! That’s a long time. She even became an executive producer for WOW – Women of Wrestling. I mean, that’s pretty cool, right? Working alongside Jeanie Buss, that’s huge!
Injuries, and Other Stuff
And let’s not forget, she had a bunch of injuries during her career. Wrestling is rough, man. It takes a toll on your body. So, maybe she’s just enjoying life outside the ring? Can’t blame her if that’s the case.
So, after all this digging, what’s the verdict? Honestly, I don’t know if AJ Lee is coming back to WWE. There’s a lot of chatter, a lot of wishful thinking, but nothing solid. Would I love to see her back? Of course! But we gotta respect whatever decision she makes. She’s done a lot for the business, and if she’s happy where she is, then we should be happy for her.
