Okay, so I’ve been diving deep into Injustice 2 lately, trying to figure out who’s really top-tier and who’s just…meh. I decided to create my own tier list, and let me tell you, it was a journey.
First, I started by just playing a ton of matches. Like, a LOT. Online, against the AI, with friends – you name it, I played it. I wanted to get a feel for every character, not just the ones I usually play.

Experiment Time!
Then, I started experimenting. I tried out different combos, special moves, and character powers. I spent hours in practice mode, just seeing what each character could do. Some characters, like Supergirl and Black Adam, I found to be pretty powerful right off the bat. Others, like Swamp Thing, took a little more work to figure out.
- Supergirl: Easy to pick up, strong zoning, good damage.
- Black Adam: Awesome power, good mix-ups, can be a real threat.
- Swamp Thing: Slow, but his command grabs and zoning can be deadly if you know how to use them.
I started making notes, jotting down what I liked and didn’t like about each character. Who was easy to use? Who had the best combos? Who was just plain annoying to fight against?
After all that playing and note-taking, I finally started putting my tier list together. It was tough! There are so many characters, and they all have their strengths and weaknesses. I went back and forth on a few of them, moving them up and down the list until I felt like I had it right.
I ended up with something like this (it’s always changing, though!):
- Top Tier: Starfire, Supergirl, Black * Guys are consistant and have a lot of damage.
- High Tier: Batman, The Flash, Doctor Fate. Pretty good, but have some weak points.
- Mid Tier: Swamp Thing, Green Arrow, Harley Quinn. Ok, can be used if you have a time.
- Low Tier: Joker, Cheetah, Captain Cold. I feel diffcult to use them to win.
It’s not perfect, and I’m sure other people will disagree with some of my choices, but that’s the beauty of tier lists, right? It’s all about personal opinion and how you play the game.
My list isn’t set in stone. I am continue to play, learn, and adjust my rankings. It’s a work in progress, just like my skills in the game!
