Alright guys, so I wanted to get a better crosshair for Junker Queen in Overwatch 2. I’m not a pro or anything, but I just felt like the default one wasn’t cutting it for me. So, I did a little digging and experimenting, and here’s what I found works best for me.
My Tinkering Process
First, I jumped into the practice range. Gotta have a place to test things out, right? I spent some time just shooting at those bots, getting a feel for Junker Queen’s shotgun and knife.
Then, I started messing with the crosshair settings. You can find these in the options menu, under “Controls,” and then you gotta select Junker Queen specifically from the hero dropdown.
- Show Accuracy:I turned this OFF. Junker Queen’s shotgun spread is kinda wide, so the accuracy indicator felt more distracting than helpful.
- Color:I picked a bright green. It just stands out well against most backgrounds, so I can see it clearly. Use the color you can see clearly.
- Thickness: I set this to around 2. Makes the crosshair lines a bit bolder without being too chunky.
- Crosshair Length: I bumped this up a bit, to about 15. It helps me visualize the spread of her shotgun a little better.
- Center Gap: This is key. I increased this to around 30. It creates a nice open space in the middle, which I find perfect for lining up those knife throws.
- Opacity: I left this at 100%. I want to see my crosshair clearly!
- Outline Opacity: Same here, 100%. Makes the edges of the crosshair really pop.
- Dot Size:I set small size to the 2.
- Dot Opacity: I put a dot in the center, so I maxed this out at 100%. That dot helps with aiming the knife.
Putting It to the Test
After tweaking those settings, I hopped into a few quick play games. Man, what a difference! I was landing way more knife throws, and my shotgun aim felt much more consistent. The open center gap really helps with tracking targets, and the bright green color makes the crosshair easy to see, even in chaotic fights.
Remember all of my sharing is what works for ME. You might need to adjust things slightly to fit your own playstyle and preferences. Don’t be afraid to experiment and find what feels best for you!
