Alright, guys, let’s talk about this “Igon’s Furled Finger” thing I messed with today. It’s some kind of key item in that new Elden Ring DLC, Shadow of the Erdtree. Sounds fancy, right? “Furled finger of Igon, the broken drake warrior.” Whatever that means. It looks all messed up, like a gnarled, knotty old finger, all discolored on the inside.
So, I got this finger from Igon. You need to follow this quest, which had me running around, doing all sorts of stuff. And he tells me I need to go up to this place called the Jagged Peak, and then summon him when I fight this big bad guy named Bayle the Dread. Seems important, I guess.
I found out you gotta talk to Igon after you beat these Twin Jagged Peak Drakes. Otherwise, you’re screwed when it comes to summoning him for the Bayle fight. You don’t even equip the finger, just having it is enough. It makes Igon’s summon sign appear when you’re fighting Bayle.
- First, I followed this whole questline thing.
- Then, I got this finger from Igon.
- After that, I went up to this Jagged Peak place.
- Next, I found these Twin Jagged Peak Drakes and beat them.
- Then, I talked to Igon again.
- Finally, I went to fight Bayle, and Igon’s summon sign showed up. Just because I had that finger in my bag.
Oh, and the fastest way to do all of this? Go to the Four Belfries and use the ones that are right there. Trust me, I spent way too long figuring that out.
So, yeah, that’s basically it. I got the finger, talked to the right people, and now I can summon this Igon dude to help me fight Bayle. Still not entirely sure what the big deal is, but it seems like it’s important for the game. Hopefully, this helps somebody out there who’s as confused as I was.
Anyways, that was my adventure for today. Maybe tomorrow I’ll figure out what else this finger does. Or maybe I’ll just go beat up some more monsters. Who knows.
