Alright, so the other day I was trying to figure out this whole “turn block black” thing in that new Genshin Impact area, Simulanka. Man, it was a bit of a head-scratcher at first, let me tell you.
Getting Started
First things first, I had to actually get into Simulanka. Turns out, you need to be at least Adventure Rank 18, which I already was, thankfully. Then you gotta finish that “Song of the Dragon and Freedom” quest. Once I did all that, boom, I could enter Simulanka.
Exploring and Finding Clues
So I’m wandering around this new area, and it’s pretty cool, but also full of these puzzles. I kept seeing these block puzzles, they are called Toy Blocks, all over the place. I figured they were there for a reason, like maybe to unlock chests or secret paths, you know? So I started messing around with them. There were boxes all over that I realized I could pick up with the “T” button. You need to use them for these puzzles.
Figuring Out the Puzzle
I spent a good chunk of time just experimenting. I’d pick up blocks, move them around, stack them. Sometimes I felt like I was getting nowhere, but I kept at it. I noticed that some of the blocks were different colors, and that seemed important. Eventually, I realized that the goal was to turn certain blocks black. It wasn’t super obvious, but I started to see a pattern in how the blocks changed colors.
The Solution
It took a while, but I finally cracked it. Turns out, you have to stack the blocks in a specific way to get them to turn black. It’s kind of like a sequence. You place one block, then another, and if you do it right, the color changes. I can’t remember the exact order for every puzzle, because they’re all a bit different, but it’s all about finding that right combination. After I figured out the first one, the others became a little easier. There are multiple around that you can use this method on.
Success!
Once I got the hang of it, I was turning blocks black left and right! It was a pretty satisfying feeling, especially after all that trial and error. I ended up unlocking a bunch of chests and even found some hidden areas. Plus, I heard you can get some achievements for solving these puzzles, so that’s a bonus.
So yeah, that’s my story of how I figured out the block puzzles in Simulanka. It was a fun challenge, and I’m glad I stuck with it. If you’re having trouble, just keep experimenting and pay attention to the colors. You’ll get it eventually! I hope this helps other people get these done too!
