Okay, so I was watching the UFC fights the other day, and it got me thinking about how much these guys actually make. Specifically, I got curious about Dustin Poirier. You know, the Diamond, good fighter, seems like a good dude. So I did what any normal person does – I went down a rabbit hole on the internet.
First, I checked out a few of those celebrity net worth websites. You know the ones, they always have these big, round numbers that seem a little too perfect. Anyway, most of them put Dustin’s net worth at around $6 million in 2024. Not too shabby, right?
Then I started digging into how he’s earned that money. Obviously, his UFC fights are a big part of it. He’s been in some wars, and those performance bonuses can really add up. I saw some places saying his career earnings in the UFC are over $5 million.
But it’s not just the fights. This guy’s got his hands in a few different pots. He’s got his own hot sauce, which seems pretty popular. I’m not really a hot sauce guy, but maybe I’ll check it out. Plus, I’m sure he’s got some endorsement deals.
I even found this crazy story about a t-shirt. Apparently, after he fought Khabib, they swapped shirts, and Khabib sold it for $100,000! I mean, who wouldn’t want a shirt that’s been worn by a legend like Khabib, right? It’s just wild what people will pay for this stuff.
And let’s not forget the comparison. It is said Conor McGregor is worth $200 million in 2024. That is crazy. But it makes sense when you consider all his deals and his whisky and all that.
So, yeah, after all that digging, it looks like Dustin Poirier is doing pretty well for himself. $6 million is a lot of money. But it seems like he’s earned it the hard way, taking punches and selling hot sauce. What a world, huh? It’s crazy how much some of these fighters can make, especially when you compare them to, like, regular athletes.
