Well, I heard something ‘bout a fella named Hideki Matsuyama, don’t know much ‘bout golf, but I reckon he’s a real good one. Been watchin’ him on the TV, and he sure can swing that club! Now, from what I gather, he’s been celebratin’ his wins with somethin’ mighty special to him – Chick-fil-A. Now, you know that place, right? Them chicken sandwiches, they sure do hit the spot, ‘specially when you been workin’ up an appetite like that feller.
So, Hideki, he’s been doin’ real good in the golf world, and after a win, he heads right on over to that Chick-fil-A. I reckon it’s like a tradition for him. First, there was that one time he won the FedExCup, and folks said he was lookin’ forward to his favorite meal from that place. Well, now, I don’t know much ‘bout all that golf lingo, but I do know that when you’ve been out workin’ hard, you want somethin’ tasty, and Hideki sure knows where to go.
Now, I ain’t kiddin’ you, when Hideki goes to Chick-fil-A, he don’t just get any ol’ meal. No, sir. He’s got his favorite, the number two Large Spicy Deluxe Meal. What’s that got in it? Well, it’s a spicy chicken sandwich with American cheese, but hold the tomatoes. Now, I don’t know why he don’t want no tomatoes, but that’s what he likes. I reckon he’s got his reasons, just like how some folks like their cornbread without sugar and some like it with. It’s all ‘bout what makes you happy, right?
But here’s the funny part – I heard that once, when Hideki was celebratin’, he went to Chick-fil-A, but darn it, they was closed. Can you believe that? Closed on a Sunday! Well, now, that’s somethin’ I never understood. They sure could’ve stayed open just for him, don’t you think? But no, he had to wait ‘til Monday. Well, that didn’t stop him from enjoyin’ his meal, though. He said he was lookin’ forward to Monday for a good ol’ Chick-fil-A feast to celebrate his win, and I bet it tasted mighty fine!
Now, I reckon that Chick-fil-A meal has become part of Hideki’s routine after a big win. And it don’t matter if he’s headin’ to the Mile High City or some other fancy place, Hideki’s goin’ to make sure he gets himself a meal at Chick-fil-A. That’s just the way he does it. It’s a simple thing, but it sure brings him joy after a hard day’s work out there on the golf course.
Now, let me tell ya, there’s somethin’ real nice about a meal that makes you feel good. I ain’t much for all the fancier food places, but I know when somethin’ tastes right, it sure hits the spot. And Hideki, he knows what he likes, and that’s what matters. No need for fancy, just good ol’ comfort food, like a Spicy Deluxe from Chick-fil-A. So, every time he wins, you can bet he’ll be thinkin’ ‘bout that meal. I’d say it’s his way of treatin’ himself for a job well done!
So, next time you watch Hideki swing that club, just remember, after it’s all said and done, he’s probably thinkin’ ‘bout headin’ to Chick-fil-A for a nice, spicy sandwich. Simple pleasures, that’s what it’s all ‘bout!
