Alright, so I finally decided to dive into this whole “yaoshi honkai star rail” thing. I’d seen some buzz about it online, and figured, why not? Let’s see what all the fuss is about.
First, I grabbed the files. It wasn’t too hard to find them, thankfully. Then came the fun part – getting it all set up. Now, I’m no tech wizard, but I can usually follow instructions pretty well.

Installation Shenanigans
I unzipped everything and started poking around. There were a bunch of folders and files, and honestly, it was a little overwhelming at first. I found the setup file and double-clicked that bad boy. The installation process started, and I just crossed my fingers and hoped for the best.
- Step 1: Unzip the files.
- Step 2: Locate the setup file.
- Step 3: Run the setup and pray.
It took a little while, but eventually, the installation finished. “Success!” I thought. But, of course, it couldn’t be that easy, could it?
First Run Jitters
I launched the program, and… nothing. Well, not nothing nothing. It started up, but it was just a black screen. I waited. And waited. Still nothing. I started to get that sinking feeling in my stomach, like when you realize you’ve forgotten something important.
I went back to the instructions and double-checked everything. Did I miss a step? Did I download the wrong files? I was about to give up, but then I spotted something I hadn’t noticed before. A little note about needing some extra software or something. I used file that and figured, “What do I have to lose?”
Victory! (Sort Of)
I downloaded and installed the extra thingy. I’m use the file and rebooted the program. And… it worked! Well, mostly. The screen was no longer black, at least. I could see some menus and stuff, but it was all in a language I didn’t understand. Still, progress!
I messed around with the settings for a bit, trying to find a language option. It took some trial and error, but I finally found it and switched it to English. Finally, I could actually understand what was going on!

So, there you have it. My first foray into “yaoshi honkai star rail.” It wasn’t exactly smooth sailing, but I managed to get it up and running. Now, I just need to figure out what to actually do with it. That’s a problem for another day, though. For now, I’m just glad I got it working!
