Okay, so the other day I was trying to get some nice, clean screenshots in Genshin Impact. You know, for wallpapers and stuff. But the UI was totally in the way, cluttering up the beautiful scenery. I poked around in the settings for a bit, figuring there’d be a simple “hide UI” option, but nope, nothing.
So, I started messing around, and finally, I figured it out. It’s actually pretty simple, but not super obvious.

How I Hid the UI
First, I opened up the in-game menu, you know the one, by tapping on the Paimon icon in top-left corner. Or by pressing Esc key on keyboard.
Then, Instead of going into the settings, I clicked on the little camera icon. It is the forth icon.
When the camera mode appears, you will see a bunch of options on the right-hand side. There it is! the last option called “Hide UI”. I just clicked on that, and boom! All the UI elements vanished. My character, the buttons, the minimap, everything. Gone!
Important Note: Remember you are in the photo mode. Because all the buttons were gone. Don’t panic!
- You just use your normal movement to W, A, S, D keys to change the camera angle or zoom in/out, it’s just like playing the game, but without the UI, it’s for getting good photo composition.
- Then, just click on the “Take Photo” or “Save to Album” icon to capture your shot. If on PC, after you click on the button, it will prompt you to choose the save location.
- If you want to exit the camera mode, simply press Esc key again.
It’s so simple, That’s it! I took some awesome, clutter-free screenshots of Teyvat. This little trick really made a difference.
