Okay, so I’ve been messing around with Honkai Impact 3rd again, and I always get sucked into trying to figure out the “best” characters. This time, I decided to actually make a tier list for myself – more for fun than anything super serious.
First, I scoured the internet for existing tier lists. You know, just to get a general idea of what other players thought. There are tons of these things out there, and they all disagree to some extent, which is kinda funny.
Then, I jumped into the game and started testing out some of the Valkyries I hadn’t really used much. I’ve got a decent roster, but there are always a few I neglect. I focused on a few different game modes, like Memorial Arena and the Abyss, to see how they performed in different situations.
My “Scientific” Process (LOL)
- Checked basic stats and skills. Yeah, this is the obvious stuff, but it’s good to have a baseline.
- Looked at recommended stigmata and weapons. This is HUGE in Honkai. The right gear can make or break a Valkyrie.
- Tried out different team compositions. Some Valkyries are amazing support, while others are all about that DPS.
- Simplely tested their performance to see how they performed.
I spent a good few hours just running through stages and taking notes. Nothing fancy, just a simple notepad where I jotted down my thoughts on each Valkyrie. Stuff like, “Damage feels low,” or “Super easy to use,” or “Ult is kinda meh.”
Finally, I put it all together. I didn’t bother with fancy graphics or anything. Just a simple text-based list, divided into tiers like S, A, B, C. Honestly, my list probably looks different from everyone else’s, and that’s totally fine. It’s all subjective anyway!
It’s been a really fun try and worth sharing.
