Well, well, well, look at that! Hayden Springer, that young fella, he’s been doin’ somethin’ right, ain’t he? Heard he won somethin’ big. Good for him, good for him. Reminds me of my boy, bless his heart, always tryin’ his best. Hayden Springer wins, you say? Well, I’ll be! That boy, he must be somethin’ special.
Heard he played that golf game. Now, I don’t know nothin’ about that fancy game, but they say he did real good. Some folks talk about this John Deere Classic thing. Sounds important, I reckon. They say he got a score of somethin’ called a 59? That’s a low number, right? Lower is better in that game? Oh, Lord, I’m all confused. But if he won, he musta done somethin’ right!

They say he’s been playin’ on that PGA TOUR, too. I reckon that’s like the big leagues for them golf players. My neighbor’s grandson, he plays that golf. Says it’s a hard game. Lots of walkin’ and hittin’ that little ball. I’d rather be sittin’ on my porch, watchin’ the world go by.
This Hayden fella, he lost his little girl, Sage. Breaks my heart, it does. Only three years old, poor little thing. Trisomy 18, they called it. Sounds awful complicated. Life can be cruel sometimes, that’s for sure. I lost my own husband a few years back. Hardest thing I ever went through. Goin’ back to life after somethin’ like that, must have been real hard for that boy. Must have the strength of an ox, that Hayden Springer. Good on him for keepin’ on, though. Just gotta keep puttin’ one foot in front of the other, that’s what I always say.
- That little Sage, bless her heart.
- Three years old. Just a baby.
- Life ain’t fair sometimes.
Heard he shot that 59 at this John Deere Classic. Folks are sayin’ it’s a record or somethin’. Don’t know much about records, ‘cept for them old music records my husband used to collect. But it sounds like a mighty big deal. Must be real proud, that Hayden Springer. And his wife, Emma, too. Losing a child, that’s gotta be the worst thing a body can go through.
They say this Hayden Springer is a good player. Been playin’ real good lately, they say. I guess all that practicin’ paid off. My grandson, he practices his baseball all the time. Says he wants to be a professional player. Maybe he’ll be like this Hayden fella someday.
I reckon winnin’ that golf tournament is a big deal. Probably get a lot of money and whatnot. Hope he uses it wisely. Maybe buy somethin’ nice for his wife. She deserves it, after all she’s been through.
I saw some folks talkin’ about this FedEx Cup. Sounds like some kind of big race, like them horse races they have on TV. And this Korn Ferry Tour, that sounds mighty important, too. Don’t know much about it, but I hear it’s a big deal if you get on it. This Hayden Springer, he’s makin’ a name for himself, that’s for sure.

I’m happy for that young man, I truly am. Life’s thrown him some curveballs, but he’s still swingin’. That’s the spirit! He’s shown that even after the worst happens, you can still get back up and do somethin’ good. Hayden Springer wins, not just at golf, but at life, I’d say.
- That boy, he’s a fighter.
- He’s got that winning spirit.
- Good on him, I say!
Heard he did that 59 score in the first round, too. Must’ve been a sight to see. I imagine folks were cheerin’ and hollerin’. Good for them. Everyone loves a good winnin’ story.
This PGA TOUR thing, it seems like a big ol’ family. They all know each other, support each other. That’s nice. It’s good to have folks in your corner, especially when times are tough. I bet that Hayden Springer, he’s got a lot of folks rootin’ for him.
Well, I reckon that’s all I know about this Hayden Springer fella. Sounds like a good young man, and a heck of a golf player. Hope he keeps on winnin’. Maybe I’ll even try to watch him play on the TV sometime. If I can figure out how to work that darn remote, that is! But anyway, good for him. Hayden Springer wins! He’s a good egg, that one.
