Alright, guys, let’s talk about this “Last Farewell” quest in Gray Zone Warfare. I jumped in blind, like I usually do, and man, it was a bit of a scramble at first.
First thing I did was hit up the vendor. Needed to grab the quest, obviously. Once I had it, I started looking at the map, trying to figure out where the heck I was supposed to go. It wasn’t super clear, honestly.

I spent a good chunk of time just running around, trying to match landmarks on the map with what I was seeing in-game. I finally found a place called hotel somewhere, which is the task target, then started to explore nearby.
- I tried different routes, died a few times to some sneaky AI.
- Checked all the spots marked on the intel, but they were empty.
- I found a spot near some houses, that seemed promising.
After a bunch of trial and error, and I mean a bunch, I finally located the document. And I grabbed it, and ran like hell. I was low on ammo, injured, and pretty sure I was being hunted by every AI on the map.
Made it back to base, heart pounding, and turned in the quest. Sweet, sweet rewards. Honestly, the relief of finishing it was almost as good as the loot.
So, yeah, that was my “Last Farewell” adventure. A bit chaotic, a lot of running around, but ultimately, I got it done. If you’re tackling this one, good luck, and maybe learn from my mistakes – take your time, scout the area carefully, and bring plenty of ammo!
