Okay, so I’ve been hooked on Monopoly Go lately, like, seriously hooked. And this Golden Blitz thing? It’s both the best and most frustrating part of the game. Let me tell you about my experience with it today.
First thing I did this morning, even before coffee, was open the app. I needed to see if a Golden Blitz was happening. I saw the countdown timer going, my hands were sweating, was it happening?
Yep! There it was – a Golden Blitz! I jumped right in, and I did a happy dance!
But here’s the thing with these Golden Blitzes, you can only trade the specific gold stickers that are chosen for the event. And, of course, the ones I needed weren’t included. Classic!
So, I spent the next few hours doing some things. I used up my daily trades to do following things:
- I hit up all the in-game trading groups.
- I spent way too long scrolling, looking for someone, anyone, who had the gold stickers I was after.
- I send out some trades for golden stickers that I need for ones I’m not using.
After a few hours of hunting and bargaining, I finally managed a couple of trades, managed to get some, but I still need to catch the next Golden Blitz to get the rest!
My Golden Blitz Takeaway
The Golden Blitz is amazing when it works in your favor. It is a great way to get rid of cards, and get the golden stickers that you need. It’s all about timing and a bit of luck. You gotta be active, you gotta be quick, and you gotta be willing to, you know, make some deals. Monopoly, baby!
