Okay, so, I’ve been messing around with this “Were It So Easy” thing in Genshin Impact, you know, that world quest that popped up in version 4.0. Let me tell you, it’s been quite a journey. First off, I had to figure out how to even start this quest. Turns out, it wasn’t as straightforward as I thought.
I started by checking out some guides online. Yeah, I know, it’s kinda lame to look up guides, but hey, sometimes you just need a little push in the right direction. It says that I could focus on doing commissions in Mondstat and Liyue. Seemed simple enough.

- I jumped into the game.
- I decided to set my commissions to those regions.
- I did some of the daily commissions.
- I spent a good chunk of my day just running around, beating up hilichurls and slimes, and delivering stuff.
Then I stumbled upon a thread talking about focusing on just two characters and downgrading the world level. Downgrading? That’s new to me. I had been ignoring the quest that lets you level up the world for a while now. The idea of making things a bit easier sounded pretty good, so I went for it. And guess what? It actually helped! Things became a lot less of a grind.
So, I focused all my resources on just two of my favorite characters. I ignored all those other characters I had sitting around, even though it was tempting to level them up. I just kept pumping all my resources into those two, getting them stronger and stronger.
Leveling up
Leveling up in Genshin is a whole thing, you know? It’s not just about beating up monsters. You gotta manage your resources, decide who to level up, and figure out the best way to do it. It’s a lot of work, but when you see your characters getting stronger, it’s pretty satisfying. I remember one player was asking for advice on how to level up faster. They wanted to catch up to their sister, who was way ahead of them in the game.
Anyway, after all that grinding, I finally managed to get through the “Were It So Easy” quest. It wasn’t as easy as the name suggests, but it was definitely doable. I even got some cool rewards out of it, which was a nice bonus. And after all this work, I feel like a real Genshin Impact expert now.
But, seriously, it took some time and effort, but I learned a lot about how to play the game more efficiently. It’s not just about brute force, you know? You gotta be smart about how you manage your resources and all that. Man, what a day. I might play again tomorrow.
