Okay, folks, let’s dive into my little adventure with the “Fire Knight Seal” in Elden Ring. I gotta say, it wasn’t as straightforward as I thought it’d be, but hey, that’s part of the fun, right?
So, first things first, I started out thinking this was gonna be some super secret item hidden behind a crazy boss. I spent hours scouring the Lands Between, getting my butt kicked by everything from those giant lobsters to, well, pretty much everything else.

Turns out, I was way off. After doing some digging around online (yeah, yeah, I know, I should’ve just explored more, but my patience was wearing thin!), I found out it’s actually tied to the “Volcano Manor” questline. Who knew?
Volcano Manor, Here I Come
Getting to Volcano Manor itself was a bit of a trek. I remember having to navigate through some seriously creepy areas, dodging those weird snake-man things. Seriously, those guys give me the chills.
Once I arrived, I joined up with the Volcano Manor crew. Seemed like a nice bunch… if you ignore the whole “assassinating other Tarnished” thing. I figured, hey, when in Rome, right? Or, uh, when in the Lands Between, I guess.
After that I have done some of the reqest from the Volcano Manor. I remember that there were a lot of Tarnished that I needed to defeat.
The “Fire Knight” Connection
Here’s where the “Fire Knight Seal” finally comes in. I started receiving these assassination requests, and one of them was for a guy named “Old Knight Istvan” who used the Fire Knight incantations.
I tracked him down, and let me tell you, it was a tough fight. He hits hard, and those fire spells are no joke. I died, like, five times before I finally got the hang of his moves. Lots of rolling and strategic pot-chugging involved.

After I finally beat him, I looted his body, and boom – there it was! Not a “Fire Knight Seal” per se, but the entire “Scaled Set,” which includes his armor and it’s infused with fire resistance, So, my “Fire Knight Seal” hunt turned into a “Scaled Set” acquisition. Kinda misleading, but hey, I’m not complaining! And I’ve got the incantation “Magma Shot”.
So, yeah, that’s my story. It wasn’t exactly what I expected, but I ended up with some cool new gear and a fun (if slightly frustrating) experience. And that’s what Elden Ring is all about, right?
