Alright, so I decided to tackle the “Euro Throwbacks” objective today, and let me tell you, it was a bit of a rollercoaster. I’m not the greatest player, so these things can be hit or miss for me.
Getting Started
First, I jumped into the game and checked out the requirements for the objective. I needed to score goals with players from specific European nations in different game modes. Okay, sounded straightforward enough, right?

Squad Building
Next, I started tweaking my squad. I have a pretty decent collection of players, so I threw in some of my best French, English, and German attackers. I figured I’d focus on those nations first, since they had the most straightforward requirements (like scoring in Squad Battles or Rivals).
The Grind
- I started with Squad Battles. It’s usually the easiest way to bang out some goals, and I was able to get a few with my French players pretty quickly.
- Then, I moved on to Rivals. This is where things got a little tougher. I’m not in the highest division, but it’s still competitive. I managed to score a few goals, but it definitely took some time. I had to play really consertive.
- There was one part of the objective that required winning a certain number of games.I struggled with that, only winning about half of game I was play.
Frustration and Finally Success!
Honestly, there were a few moments where I wanted to throw my controller. I had a couple of games where I was dominating, but just couldn’t seem to find the back of the * my opponent always made a counter attack and got an easy goal. But I kept at it, trying different formations and tactics, and it starts to get easier.
Finally, after a few hours of grinding, I managed to complete all the different parts of the objective. It felt good to finally get it done! I unlocked the rewards, which were, thankfully, pretty decent. Nothing amazing, but definitely worth the *’s not a bad one to complete if you need to improve your team.
