Okay, so yesterday I decided to finally track down all those Walking Mausoleums in Elden Ring. I’d bumped into a few randomly, but I wanted to get them all so I could duplicate every Remembrance I had. You know, for those sweet, sweet boss weapons and spells. Gotta catch ’em all, right?
First, I grabbed my trusty notebook and pen – gotta stay organized! Then I fired up the game and started systematically checking areas I’d already explored. I figured that was the best way to start, since I might have missed some the first time around.

My first target was the Weeping Peninsula. I remembered seeing one stomping around near the Castle Morne Rampart Site of Grace. I fast-traveled there, hopped on Torrent, and sure enough, there it was. I took down the skulls on its legs – kinda creepy, but easy enough – and went inside to duplicate a Remembrance. One down!
Next, I headed to Liurnia of the Lakes. I knew there were a couple there, I just needed to pinpoint their locations. The one near the Raya Lucaria Crystal Tunnel was pretty straightforward. Found it, cleaned its legs, and duplicated another Remembrance. The second one in Liurnia, though, that was a bit trickier. It’s the jumping one, you know at Mausoleum Compound? I had to use the spiritspring to jump on the top of the mausoleum. But I did it.
Then came the real challenge: the ones in the late-game areas. Deeproot Depths. Oh boy. I had to deal with those annoying flying ants and those giant… things. But I persevered, found the Mausoleum hidden away, and got it done.
The Consecrated Snowfield was next. That area is just a pain to navigate, with the low visibility and all. But I remembered seeing a Mausoleum wandering around during my previous (frustrating) exploration. It was guarded by some tough knights, but I used my Mimic Tear to distract them and cleaned the Mausoleum’s legs while they were busy.
My Complete List
- Weeping Peninsula: Near Castle Morne Rampart. Easy peasy.
- Liurnia of the Lakes:
- Near Raya Lucaria Crystal Tunnel.
- Mausoleum Compound, Need to use the spiritspring to jump on the top.
- Liurnia of the Lakes: Near the Mausoleum Compound Site of Grace. This is the tricky jumping one!
- Deeproot Depths:Near the Nameless Eternal City Site of Grace. Annoying area, but worth it.
- Consecrated Snowfield: Wandering around the western part. Watch out for the knights!
- Limgrave:Near the Walking Mausoleum. The most easy one.
- Mountaintops of the Giants:Near the Castle Sol.
After several hours, lots of running, some cursing, and a few close calls, I’d finally found and activated all the Walking Mausoleums. My notebook was filled with scribbled notes and diagrams, and my character was now rocking a pretty impressive arsenal of boss weapons. Totally worth it!
