Okay, so I’ve been messing around with Edgar in Brawl Stars, trying to figure out the absolute best way to build him. I gotta say, it took some trial and error, but I think I’ve finally cracked the code. Here’s the lowdown on my Edgar journey:
First Steps: Getting the Basics Down
I started by just jumping into some games, you know, feeling him out. I quickly realized Edgar is all about that burst damage and quick escapes. His super is insane for closing the gap, and his fast movement speed lets you dance around enemies. My initial thought was, “Okay, gotta max out the damage.” So I slapped on anything that boosted his attack.

Experimenting with Gadgets and Star Powers
This is where things got interesting. I tried both of Edgar’s Gadgets. “Let’s Fly” seemed cool for that super fast jump and recharge time. It made me feel extremely aggro, which was super fun to play.
- “Let’s Fly”: It make me super quicker.
Then I messed with his Star Powers. At first, I was all about “Hard Landing.” Dealing extra damage after jumping on someone felt like a no-brainer, I like dealing extra damage. But then,I gave “Fisticuffs” a shot. The idea of healing more with each punch seemed okay, but I am playing Edgar so I want to maximize my offense, I will still go with “Hard Landing.”
- “Hard Landing”: It makes me feel like a stronger assasin.
- “Fisticuffs”: It does not help too much.
The “Aha!” Moment & Refining the Build
After playing with “Hard Landing”, I went into some matches, I jump in, do my damage, and… get blown up immediately. And it happened over and over. I had to switch up my game plan because if I die quickly, I am no good to anyone.
So, with all this in mind, I tried to be more patient. I still want to be an assasin so I picked “Hard Landing” and “Let’s Fly”, with these choices I get the best Edgar build I think, it helps me to do my damage much quicker and more often.
The Final Verdict
So, after all that experimenting, here’s what I’ve settled on for the best Edgar build:
- Gadget: “Let’s Fly”.
- Star Power: “Hard Landing”.
This combo is a killer! It makes the most sense to my playstyle and I think it is the best. I have been getting a lot more wins with it. It might not be perfect for everyone, but it’s definitely working for me. Give it a try, and let me know what you think!
