Okay, so, let me tell you about this crazy time I had with a game called Escape from Tarkov. I’m not usually one for super intense games, but I heard there was a big sale going on, so I thought, why not give it a shot? I went ahead and downloaded the game, not really knowing what to expect.
First off, I had to create an account on their website. That was easy enough. Then came the downloading part, which, let me tell you, took a while. My internet isn’t the fastest, so I just let it do its thing in the background while I watched some random videos online – you know, the usual stuff like Pokimane and some sports highlights. NFL, NBA, you name it.
Once it finally finished, I launched the game and was greeted with a pretty intense main menu. I messed around with the settings a bit, trying to figure out what everything did. Graphics, controls, audio – the whole nine yards. Honestly, it was a bit overwhelming at first.
I jumped into a raid, I think they call it, and boy, was I lost. I had no idea where I was going or what I was supposed to do. I kept hearing these rumors in-game about some “living dead” in a place called The Lab, but I was nowhere near ready for that. I was just trying to survive, running around, looting whatever I could find, and trying not to get shot.

My plan was simple: “I will sell everything I get, and one day if i need it for a quest.” I figured that was the best way to make some money in the game and get better gear. And let me tell you, the selling part was pretty straightforward. I’d just go to the flea market, list my stuff, and wait for someone to buy it.
I played for a few days, and I gotta say, it was a wild ride. I had some good raids, some bad raids, and a whole lot of confusing moments. But, you know what? It was fun, in a really intense, stressful kind of way. Sometimes I met with some other players and we chatted about the game, and that was pretty fun. Someone talked about the game couple of weeks back, and we all think that the game is much more fun when playing with some friends.
Eventually, I realized that my live tarkov installation was causing some issues. The game kept crashing, and it was just a mess. So, I did what any sane person would do – I uninstalled the whole thing, launcher and all, and started fresh. And guess what? It worked! Smooth as butter after that.
So, yeah, that’s my story about the Escape from Tarkov big sale. It was a crazy, confusing, but ultimately fun experience. Would I recommend it? Maybe. If you’re into hardcore, realistic shooters and you’ve got the patience of a saint, then go for it. Otherwise, maybe stick to something a little less intense, like Minecraft or Hollow Knight: Silksong. Just my two cents.
What a tough game!
Anyways, that’s my Escape from Tarkov adventure. Hope you enjoyed the ride!
