Alright, guys, let’s talk about Town Hall 9 armies in Clash of Clans. I’ve been messing around with different strategies, and I want to share what’s been working (and not working) for me.
The Experiment Begins
First, I upgraded my Town Hall to level 9. That unlocked a bunch of new stuff, like the Archer Queen, X-Bows, and some extra defenses. I also started upgrading my army camps to hold more troops. That capacity bump is HUGE.

Then I started trying out different army compositions. I watched some YouTube videos and read some guides, but honestly, it’s all about trial and error.
My Go-To Attacks
- GoWiPe:
This one’s a classic. I throw in a couple of Golems to soak up damage, then some Wizards for firepower, and a few Pekkas to smash through walls and buildings. I use Wall Breakers to open up compartments, and I always bring some healing spells and a rage spell to keep my troops going strong. it’s a solid choice for most bases.
- Lavaloonion:
If the base has weak air defenses, I go for Lavaloonion. Basically, I send in a Lava Hound or two to distract the air defenses, then deploy a bunch of Balloons to do the damage. Minions clean up the remaining buildings.
- Hog Rider Rush:
Hog Riders are great if the base doesn’t have many giant bombs or spring traps.I dump a whole bunch of Hogs, use healing spells to keep them alive, and watch them tear through the defenses. I use some cleanup troops to eliminate any outside buildings.
What I Learned
It is important, I found that scouting the base is super important. No one army works for every layout. I look for things like:

- Air defense placement (for Lavaloonion)
- Possible giant bomb locations (for Hog Riders)
- Compartment layout (for GoWiPe)
Also, I learned the hard way that upgrading your troops and spells makes a BIG difference. A level 5 Wizard is way stronger than a level 4, and a level 2 Lava Hound can take a lot more punishment.
After my attempts and practice, I finally got the best army and skills.
So, that’s my experience with Town Hall 9 armies so far. It’s a lot of experimenting and figuring out what works best for you. Good luck, and clash on!
