Okay, so I’ve been trying to climb the ranks in this “Top GR Arena” thing in League of Legends, and let me tell you, it’s been a journey. I wanted to share my experience, what I did, and how it all went down.
First, I jumped into some normal games. You know, just to warm up, get a feel for the current meta, and see what champions people are playing frequently. I noticed a lot of strong duelists and bruisers.

Gearing Up
After some warm-up games, I started to really think about my champion pool. I needed champions that could handle those popular picks.
- I picked my main, who is a really good all-rounder.
- I also practiced a couple of counter-picks, just in case.
- Made sure my runes and masteries were set up properly. I mean, every little bit helps, right?
The Climb
Then, I dove into ranked. The first few games were a bit of a mixed bag. Some wins, some losses. Typical ranked stuff, you know? I tried to stay positive, even after those frustrating losses where my team fed like crazy.
I focused on my own gameplay. I made sure to ward properly, watched the minimap like a hawk, and tried to make good calls. Communicating with the team, even if it was just pings, really made a difference.
I experimented with different strategies. Sometimes I played super aggressively, other times I played it safe and farmed up. It really depended on the matchup and how the game was going.
The Results
After grinding it out for a while, I finally started to see some real progress. I climbed a few divisions, and it felt great. I even get a decent rank!
It wasn’t easy, though. There were definitely some rough patches. But I learned a lot, and I think I’ve become a better player overall. It was defintely a good experience.
