First off, I started pulling on the current weapon banner. You know, the one with the two featured 5-star weapons? Well, the thing is, you gotta choose which one you want using this “Epitomized Path” thing. Each time I pulled a 5-star weapon that wasn’t the one I chose, I got a Fate Point. Seemed simple enough, right?

So, I racked up a couple of Fate Points, hoping to get my desired weapon eventually. But then the banner ended. I was like, “Dang, what happens to my Fate Points now?” I went into the next weapon banner, and guess what? They were gone! Vanished! I started at zero again. That’s when it hit me – Fate Points don’t carry over. It’s not like the pity system for characters. Each weapon banner is like a clean slate for Fate Points.

Now, I also noticed something about the pity system on the weapon banner. See, your pity count, like how many pulls you’ve done since your last 5-star, that actually does carry over. You’re guaranteed a 5-star weapon within the next few pulls. That’s a relief, at least.

My Realization
So, here’s the deal. Fate Points are a one-time thing for each weapon banner. You lose them when the banner ends. Pity, on the other hand, sticks with you. It’s a bit of a bummer, to be honest. You gotta be really sure you want that weapon and have enough pulls saved up to get it within that one banner, or else those Fate Points are just wasted.
