Okay, so, I’ve been glued to WWE lately, especially Jey Uso’s matches. That guy’s journey has been wild, and I was super curious to see if he’d finally get a big win. So, I started digging into it.
First, I watched a bunch of his recent matches. I remember one where he went up against Bron Breakker for the Intercontinental Championship. It was intense! They were going at it, and the energy was crazy. Jey Uso is known as “Main Event” so my expectations were high and in the end, Jey hit that diving splash and got the pinfall. He actually won the Intercontinental Championship! I was pumped!
But it wasn’t just that one match. I also checked out the 2024 King of the Ring Tournament. Jey had a semi-final match against Gunther. They tied up, and Gunther backed Jey into a corner. That match was a nail-biter, too, but the outcome wasn’t what I hoped for.
Then, I went back a bit further. On SmackDown, I remember watching Jey side with Jimmy, his brother, and they both left The Bloodline by giving Reigns a superkick. They then teamed up to fend off Sikoa, breaking away from Reigns. That was a huge moment!
Later, on another SmackDown episode, Jey explained he was worried about power corrupting him if he became the new Tribal Chief, which led to him superkicking Reigns, Sikoa, and even Jimmy. He said he was quitting WWE after that. What a twist!
- Watched Jey vs. Bron Breakker: Jey won the Intercontinental Championship.
- Checked out the 2024 King of the Ring: Jey faced Gunther in the semi-finals.
- Recalled Jey leaving The Bloodline: He sided with Jimmy and superkicked Reigns.
- Remembered Jey quitting WWE: He explained his fears about power and left.
I also found out about this “civil war” in WWE between the original Bloodline and what people are calling The Bloodline 2.0. It all came to a head at Crown Jewel 2024, but I haven’t watched that yet. I need to catch up!
So, yeah, Jey Uso has had some major wins and some tough moments. He’s won the Intercontinental Title but also had that whole dramatic exit from The Bloodline and WWE. It’s been a rollercoaster, and I’m here for it. Can’t wait to see what he does next!
