Alright, let me tell you about this crazy thing I did. I was watching UFC 290, and this guy, Dricus du Plessis, just smashed Robert Whittaker. I mean, he totally wrecked him with a TKO in the second round. It was wild!
So, after the fight, I got this wild idea. I was so hyped up from the match and, I don’t know, I just felt like doing something crazy. I’d seen some videos online of du Plessis kissing his coach, Morne Visser, and I thought, “Why not? Let’s try that!”

I grabbed my buddy, who was watching the fight with me. He’s a good sport, always up for a laugh. I told him what I was planning, and he was like, “Dude, are you serious?” But he was also kind of into it, so we went for it.
The Experiment
- Step 1: Watched the fight – Du Plessis vs. Whittaker. That was intense!
- Step 2: Got inspired by those videos of du Plessis and his coach. Seemed like a fun, crazy thing to do.
- Step 3: Convinced my buddy to be my “coach” for this little experiment. He wasn’t hard to persuade, thankfully.
- Step 4: The Kiss. We just went for it. It was awkward, hilarious, and definitely a moment.
- Step 5: Laughed our asses off. It was so ridiculous, but we did it.
It was so weird, doing it like that. We both burst out laughing afterward. I mean, it’s not every day you decide to kiss your friend just because a fighter kissed his coach. It was a spur-of-the-moment thing, and we just rolled with it.
We tried to make it like the videos, you know, the intensity and all that. But we’re not professional fighters, and it just ended up being super awkward and funny. We were cracking up, trying to hold serious faces but failing miserably.
After we calmed down, we watched the videos again, comparing our “performance” to the real thing. It was nowhere near as intense or, well, professional. But it was a good laugh. We even recorded it, and let me tell you, that video is pure gold. We’ve watched it like a million times, and it still cracks us up.
Honestly, it was one of those things you do just for the heck of it. Would I do it again? Probably not. But it was definitely an experience. And hey, it made for a great story, right? It’s not every day you can say you kissed your friend because a UFC fighter did it. Life’s too short to be serious all the time, gotta have those crazy moments!
