Okay, so I’ve been messing around with different army comps in Clash of Clans, Town Hall 9, right? And let me tell you, it’s been a journey. I started out just throwing whatever I had at bases, you know, the classic “spray and pray” method. Didn’t work so well. I got crushed, lost a ton of resources, and basically felt like a noob.
So, I decided I needed to actually, like, think about my attacks. I started watching some YouTube videos, reading some guides, you know, the whole nine yards. I tried a bunch of different strategies, some popular ones, some weird ones I just cooked up myself.

Experimenting with Armies
- GoWiPe: First, I dove into GoWiPe. Everyone says it’s solid, and it is, but man, it felt slow. I deployed my Golems, watched them soak up damage, sent in my Wizards and P.E.K.*… it worked, but it wasn’t always a three-star. Plus, those P.E.K.* are divas, always wandering off to chase butterflies or something.
- Lavaloonion: Then I got all fancy with Lavaloonion. Sounded cool, looked cool in the videos. I bred those Lava Hounds, pumped out Balloons and Minions… and promptly got wrecked by air defenses. Turns out, you actually need to, like, plan where you drop those Lava Hounds. Who knew? Took a lot of practice, and a lot of failed raids, but I started to get the hang of it. Still not my favorite, though.
- Hog Riders: The next thing that was popular for a try,I deployed those Hog Riders, but I failed so many * hard to use.
I kept tweaking, experimenting, and watching replays. I realized it wasn’t just about the troops, it was about the base I was hitting, too. A GoWiPe might crush one base, but get totally owned by another. Lavaloonion was great against some layouts, but a complete disaster against others.
I start to use Queen Walk. It’s very useful to me, and I like * I found my way to 3 * use the Queen Walk, and put some other army behind the * work well.
So, after all that trial and error, after all those resources lost and trophies won (and lost again), I finally found some armies that I can consistently get those three stars * is difficult, but very happy when the plan going well.
