Okay, here’s my blog post about what you can sell at the Cobra Shop in Dave the Diver, written from my personal experience:
Alright, so I’ve been diving deep into Dave the Diver (pun intended!), and one thing I’ve been messing around with is figuring out the best stuff to sell at Cobra’s shop. It’s not always obvious what’s gonna fetch the best price, so I did some experimenting. Here’s what I found.

My Early Game Mistakes
At first, I was just selling everything I caught. Whatever I scooped up, I’d just dump it at Cobra’s. This worked, kinda, but I quickly realized I wasn’t making the most money I could. I mean, common fish are okay, but they don’t exactly make you rich.
Figuring Out the Good Stuff
Then I started paying more attention. I noticed that some fish were worth way more than others. The bigger, rarer fish were obviously better, but there were some surprises too.
Here’s what I started focusing on:
- High-Value Fish: This is kinda obvious, but it’s worth saying. Things like Tuna, Marlin, those big guys. They always sell for a good price. I started targeting them whenever I could.
- Rare Ingredients: It’s not just about the whole fish. Sometimes you get special parts, like Shark Teeth or rare scales. These can be worth a lot. I made sure to keep an eye out for those.
- Cooked Dishes (Sometimes): This one is tricky. Sometimes, the cooked version of a dish sells for more than the ingredients. But sometimes it doesn’t! It really depends on the dish and the current demand. I had to experiment a lot with this.
- The Seasonality of the dishes:Check the menu of your restaurant, and get the ingredients of some of the dishes that you can sell at higher price.
My General Strategy
Here’s what my routine ended up looking like:
- Dive and Prioritize: I’d go out and focus on getting the high-value fish and ingredients. I wouldn’t waste time on the small fry unless I had extra space.
- Check the Menu:I started to make the plan of the menu of my restrant, then according to the menu I decided what kind of fish or other ingredients I should get.
- Cobra’s Shop Run: I’d head to Cobra’s and sell my good stuff. I’d usually keep a few of the common fish for cooking, but the rest went straight to him.
- Experiment with Dishes: I’d pick a couple of dishes and see if they sold for more cooked. If they did, I’d remember that for next time. If not, I’d just sell the ingredients.
My Final Thoughts
It’s all about being smart and paying attention. Don’t just sell everything – focus on the high-value stuff. And don’t be afraid to experiment with cooking! You might be surprised at what makes you the most money. I’m still learning, but this strategy has definitely helped me boost my profits in the game.
Keep diving and keep experimenting!.
