Alright, so I wanted to beef up my attacks in Clash of Clans, especially since I just hit Town Hall 11. I’ve been getting crushed by these crazy TH11 bases, and my old army just wasn’t cutting it anymore. So, I did some digging, watched a few videos, and decided to try out a new army composition.
Experimenting with Different Troops
First, I messed around with a few different combinations. I knew I wanted to use some heavy hitters, but I also needed support troops and something to deal with those pesky Clan Castle troops.

- I started by trying out a bunch of Golems, thinking they’d be my main tanks. But they were just too slow, and my attacks kept timing out.
- Then I experimented with PEKKAs. I love their damage, but again, they felt a bit sluggish, and I needed more of them to really make a dent.
- I even threw in some Witches, hoping their Skeletons would distract defenses. It worked okay, but it wasn’t quite the powerhouse I was looking for.
Finding the Right Mix
After a few failed raids (and a lot of wasted resources!), I finally landed on a composition that seems to be working pretty well. It’s a variation of a “BoWitch” army, but with a few tweaks to make it more TH11-friendly.
Here’s what I’m running with now:
- 5 Healers: These ladies are crucial for keeping my main force alive.
- 3 PEKKAs: Great to destroy.
- 12 Bowlers: These guys are the backbone of the attack. Their bouncing rocks do a ton of damage.
- 8 Wall Breakers: Gotta get through those walls somehow!
- 1 Baby Dragon,4 wizards: For funneling and picking off outside buildings.
- Spells: I’m using 1 Rage Spell, 2 Jump Spells, 4 Freeze Spells, and 1 Poison Spell. The Jumps help my troops get into the core, the Rage boosts their damage, the Freeze stops those nasty defenses, and the Poison takes care of Clan Castle troops.
Putting it to the Test
I’ve tested this army out in a bunch of raids, and I’ve been having some serious success. I’m consistently getting 2-stars, and I’ve even managed a few 3-stars against weaker TH11 bases.
The key is to create a good funnel with the Baby Dragon and wizards, then deploy the Bowlers and Healers in a line. I use the Wall Breakers to open up compartments, and then drop the Jump Spells to guide my troops towards the Town Hall. The Rage Spell goes down when my troops engage the core defenses, and I use the Freeze Spells to shut down things like Inferno Towers and Eagle Artillery.
It’s not a foolproof strategy, and I’m still learning the best ways to use it. I used to have a bad habit of attacking from the corner and lost a lot of trophies for that. But overall, I’m pretty happy with how this army is performing. It’s definitely a step up from my old TH10 army, and it’s helping me climb the ranks again!
