Alright, guys, let’s talk about Clancy in Brawl Stars. I’ve been messing around with him, trying to figure out the best way to play this brawler, and I think I’ve finally cracked the code. So, I picked Clancy, fresh out of the box, and jumped straight into some matches.
First few games? Rough. I was getting stomped. I was trying to play him like a straight-up damage dealer, running in guns blazing. Big mistake. Clancy’s not about that life. He’s more of a… strategic damage dealer, if that makes sense.
Experimenting with Builds
So, I started experimenting. I needed to figure out which build was best to run with.
- Gadget: At first, I went with the “Super Stun” gadget, thinking, “Hey, more control, more wins, right?” Wrong, so wrong.
- Star Power: Then, I tried “Piercing Notes”, more damage in a single hit, that’s gotta be good, surely? Nope!
- Gears: I started to combine them.
Then I went to do some practice, after losing a bunch of games.
The Winning Combo
After a good few hours, and a lot of trial and error, here’s what I landed on, the build that finally started racking up those wins:
- Gadget: Changed to “Horn Storm,”. This thing is your bread and butter for finishing off enemies hiding behind walls or for quickly bursting down a low-health target.
- Star Power: Changed to “Resonance”, Now you can get two supers at once.
- Gears: A combination of Damage and Reload Speed.
Putting it all together
So, the basic strategy I figured out is this: use your main attack to poke and charge your Super. Don’t overcommit. Stay at mid-range, and use those long-range shots to annoy the enemy and build up that Super meter. Once you have your Super, that’s where the combo comes in, use the star power, then your super and the gadget to take the other player out before they know what hit em.
Seriously, this build has turned Clancy from a brawler I was about to write off into one of my go-to picks. Give it a shot, and let me know how it works for you! It might take a few games to get the hang of it, but trust me, it’s worth it.
