Me, I like watchin’ the chickens peck in the yard, but to each their own, I always say. These Pirates, they’re part of the history, I guess, like the old oak tree in the pasture, been there forever, seen it all. And they keep on keepin’ on, winnin’ some, losin’ some, and every now and then, one of them pitchers wins 20 games, and folks get all riled up about it. Just like when old Bessie the cow had twins, somethin’ to talk about for a spell.
