Okay, so today I wanna talk about what I did with this “burning light jade” thing. Sounds fancy, right? It’s actually part of some online event I stumbled upon, something called the “Second Coming of Solaris.” It was a week-long thing, and “burning light jade” was the name of the last task on the final day. Sounded cool, so I jumped in.
First off, I logged into the event page. It was pretty easy to find, just had to follow the instructions from the event announcement. Once I was in, I saw a list of tasks for the day. The “Burning Jade of Light” was right there at the bottom, all shiny and tempting.
I clicked on it, and it gave me some background story. You know, the usual stuff about appreciating jade and all. Honestly, I skimmed through most of it. I was more interested in the actual task.
There were a couple of things I had to do. First, they showed me pictures of different jade pieces. I had to look at them closely and try to figure out which ones were real and which ones were fake. They said something about real jade feeling cool to the touch, but honestly, they all looked the same to me through the screen!
Next, they asked me to use some kind of virtual light to shine on the jade. Apparently, you can tell if it’s real by how the light passes through it, something about “translucency.” It felt a bit like a game, moving the light around and observing the jade. I guessed which light looked best on the jade.
They also had this option to use a UV light, but I skipped that. It seemed a bit too complicated for me. I just stuck with the regular light.
After messing around with the light for a while, I had to submit my “findings”. I just picked the jade that looked the prettiest to me under the light and hoped for the best.
Once I submitted it, the event page congratulated me and said I had completed the “Burning Jade of Light” quest. I got some kind of virtual reward, I think. Honestly, I don’t even remember what it was. It wasn’t anything special.
- Joined the “Second Coming of Solaris” event.
- Found the “Burning Jade of Light” quest.
- Read (or rather, skimmed) the quest description.
- Examined pictures of jade.
- Used a virtual light to test the jade’s translucency.
- Skipped the UV light part.
- Submitted my findings.
- Completed the quest and got a reward.
So yeah, that was my experience with this whole “burning light jade” thing. It was kind of fun, I guess, but nothing to write home about. Just another one of those online events to kill some time. If you happen to see it, give it a try. Might be something you’d enjoy more than I did! After all, I’m just a guy who likes to share what he’s been up to. No expert here, just telling you how it went down for me.
